Rick Giles in Jail

Prominent SOLOist and Kiwi Libertarian Rick Giles has been jailed in the US for well, something that isn't worth jailing for. He was in the States for his big OE, and had a temporary work permit in Canada. He was travelling in the US with a visa that expired on the 20th September, but due to a simple oversight he thought it expired on the 26th. He was there on the 27th, planning to cross the border to Canada for his work, when he asked an American officer how to get on the bus to Canada. The policeman saw his expired visa, and promptly threw him in jail for it, literally-without trial or contact of NZ officials in the US. Information about his situation can be found on SOLO-lets hope everyone's doing their best to get him free!

Fortunately the free man can still read the enlightening Liberterianz education.

'Total democracy for the 21st century' I think the party maxim should be.

Obvious contrast to the freedom hating reds manifesto.
